耳順之年活得悠然自得的金艾霞（張艾嘉 飾），突被通知在紐約做人工生殖的小女兒（劉奕兒 飾）車禍身亡。在處理后事、對成功胚胎的去留做出抉擇的同時，她將面對當年出生即被送養的大女兒Emma（林嘉欣 飾）。做決定的時刻；她，抑或她們，會如何選擇？
